Tiny Antennas

Minuscule optical antennas are used to enhance the interaction between light and matter and to control the emission from tiny light emitters, such as molecules, ions, or quantum dots. The antennas will potentially be useful for creating optoelectronic devices that use light in place of the electrical signals in conventional electronics.
