Dream Chaser

Since retiring the space shuttle fleet in 2011, NASA has been partnering with aerospace companies to build their next generation of manned spacecraft. One such spacecraft, Sierra Nevada Corporation's Dream Chaser, will take astronauts on sub-orbital flights into space. The Dream Chaser isn't quite as roomy as the space shuttle, but scientists hope to eventually use the vehicle to transport crew and materials to the International Space Station with help from an Atlas V rocket.
