The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) is responsible for creating the highest resolution topographic map of the moon. The LRO is equipped with a Wide Angle Camera and Lunar Orbiter Laser Altimeter that allows scientists to capture and reproduce the shape of the moon at a pixel scale close to 328 feet.  This map shows every blemish pocking the face of the "man in the moon."
