LaserFest Photons

LaserFest is the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the laser. The invention of the laser has a turbulent history that goes all the way back to Einstein. However, this tremendous invention was not the work of only one physicist, but rather the collaboration of several -some making theoretical predictions while others tinkering with experiments. Eventually the laser was born. And in only 50 years it has emerged as one of the greatest inventions of all time. Every day, whether you realize it or not, the laser is a part of your life.
