A New World View

A New World View  is a tribute to the World Year of Physics 2005. The artists designed A New World View to challenge and inspire today's children to build on the science of the past and be a part of the science of the future.

A New World View has four glass columns each containing eight tiles. Three columns focus on Einstein’s revolutionary ideas of 1905—the composition of matter, the quantum nature of light, and the Special Theory of Relativity. The fourth column illustrates Einstein's life. A representation of this work is shown to the left. In the actual artwork, faces of children peer through the glass at the images in front of them.
